I had a weird thing happen this week -- Thursday morning I woke up dizzy enough to fall down and with the hearing in my left ear gone. Nat took me to the doctor and I'll go to a specialist on Tuesday, but until then I'm just loading up on dramamine and realizing every now and then that I suddenly need to be very still for a while. Some of my hearing has returned, but it sounds metallic, like Transformers or something, and is grating. I can't handle two people talking to me at once anymore and Nat says it's just so I can understand what it's like to be a man. no thanks. It's a bit like this photo. Half-underwater, a bit blurry, but still just staying above the waves.
